24th July-29th July 2017
Singalong showstopper 'Chicago'
Monday 24th to Tuesday 25th
For two days we head to back to the 1920s for a bit of murder, greed, corruption, exploitation and treachery and yes, you read that right!
If you love the musical Chicago and fancy getting into the character of a double-murderess or a smooth-talking lawyer then this workshop is for you. No singing experience is necessary: all you need is the desire to sing!
We will learn a range of songs from classics like And All That Jazz and Razzle Dazzle to some of the less well-known numbers. Jenni will work sensitively with your voices to give you the confidence to sing.
There will be a performance of our achievements on the Tuesday afternoon at around 4pm.
JENNI MATTHEWS works as a vocalist, musical director and workshop leader. Her mission is simple: to make singing accessible
to everyone, regardless of skill or experience. She has taught at Kingswood School in Bath and Abingdon School where she was
Assistant Director of Music. She loves encouraging people to sing, and enjoys nothing more than seeing the
buzz it gives as people exceed their own expectations. She hates to hear people say 'my music teacher told me
I couldn't sing' - because you can!
Course Cost for 2 days £82.
Non Refundable Deposit £50.
