Thursday 1st August to Saturday 3rd August
Using the moving figure as inspiration,
you will spend two mornings working
directly from a dancer, as they warm up
and perform various dances. You will be
encouraged to experiment with a range
of media and approaches to explore and
express the dynamic form. In the afternoons
and final day you will refine and develop
your drawings, taking inspiration from the
figure drawings of artists like Rodin and
Degas. You don't need to be an expert at
drawing the body to enjoy and gain from
this interesting and unusual opportunity.
There will be a materials cost of £17 to cover the
model (dancer) and some art materials.
