Monday 2nd to Sunday 3rd March
Create realistic or fantastic creatures using the technique of batik (hot wax resist) on tissue on day 1 and
on fabric on day 2. Bring some images to inspire you and Jenny will help you translate these ideas in to beautiful
pieces of art suitable for framing. You will work on paper as a base but you may wish to bring a canvas up to A3,
fabric will be provided.

Jenny O'Leary is a textile artist and tutor based in Shropshire. Her work is inspired by the landscape around her, its colours,
patterns textures and shapes. She works with a number of textile techniques, batik (hot wax resist) on tissue paper and
on fabric, machine embroidery and felting. She offers talks and courses.
