Monday 9th to Sunday 10th November
Experiment with basic lithography techniques using equipment and materials available in the home. Lithography is traditionally a method of relief printing from a metal
plate or stone, based on the antipathy of oil and water. This course will teach you the underlying technique using aluminium foil and cola using rudimentory low-cost,
non-toxic materials. There will be a press available although printing by hand works well. You will work with one colour printing primarily, with the chance to combine
this with gum arabic printing and monoprinting for added depth and colour. Materials cost £15.
