Thursday 1st August to Friday 2nd August
Polymer 'clay' is an exciting material that is
easy to work with at home without the need
for specialist tools. During the two days you
will learn to manipulate the material and
combine colours to make beads, pendants
and buttons. These can then be used to
create pieces of finished jewellery, if you
choose to do so. You will be taught some
basic jewellery making techniques -
threading, finishing and knotting so that
you go home with some unique designs.
Materials cost: £19 for basic materials. You will be
able to purchase other beads from the tutor.
SARA WITHERS designs and
makes jewellery that is sold in
shops and galleries throughout
Britain. She is the author of many
books on bead jewellery, including
The Encyclopedia of Wire Jewellery
Techniques and The Compendium of
Jewellery Making Techniques.
