Monday 29th July to Wednesday 31st July
You will learn how to: select suitable images
and reference materials; use a squeegee
to push ink through a screen onto paper,
card, and fabric; create images using cut or
ripped stencils and use layering to produce
instant, bold prints. You can express your
own style through mark making, and
the use of texture, colour choice and
composition. Beginners are welcome,
and will be given step by step guidance
throughout the sessions, with visual
presentation and demonstrations in a
relaxed, informal learning atmosphere.
We will be exploring many screen printing
techniques, I will also demonstrate the
process of photographic screen printing.
I will bring along all materials and equipment
needed, but if you have any specific papers that
you would like to use do bring them along.
There will be a materials cost of £ 10 to students.
