Monday 29th July to Saturday 3rd August
This course is suitable for complete beginners
and those who have some skills and wish to

experiment with ideas and techniques and
work on one or more projects. Other options
include glass painting, making a garden
panel, or small hanging pieces as well as a
panel which could be installed in your home.
Everyone will learn how to develop a design,
prepare a cutline template, cut glass, assemble
the pieces together with lead, solder and
cement the panel. Tuition will be through group
demonstrations and individual guidance.
Material costs are payable to the tutor by cash or
Each A3 panel will cost £50. There is a
£10 fee for tool hire. There is a £10 fee for the use
of glass paint, brushes and kiln firings.
NICOLA KANTOROWICZ has
been making stained glass for many
years. Her commissioned windows
can be seen in churches around
the country. Most recently she has
had two rose windows installed in
Banbury Town Hall. She also works
on smaller projects which explore
her love of colour and pattern. She
enjoys helping her students to
realise their ideas in glass.
