Monday 27th July to Friday 31st July
The theme this year is inspired by the chaos
of wild growing things - like the garden that
turns into a jungle while you're on holiday!
Students will study artists like Rousseau
and Klimt to gain inspiration and experiment
by using black and white cotton velvet as a
starting point with discharge using bleach;
block printing by designing and making your
own blocks; stencilling; transfer foiling using
a variety of glues and trying out foiling pens;
masking - plus many more ideas and lots of
machine/hand stitching to fill your surface
with colour and texture.
There will be a materials cost of £15 per student.
