Lino Cutting Fun This is a lively, friendly introduction to lino cutting but also suitable for those with some experience.	Inspired by Cezanne We will look at his landscapes and still-life compositions, working with outlines that smudge into the forms and looking at volume created by faceting the shapes.	Drawing for contemporary painting Using a range of wet and dry media you will work from a challenging 'set' following procedures designed to help you make strong and dynamic drawings to support a more contemporary approach to impasto painting. Over	Screen Printing During this workshop you will learn how to express your style through mark making, use of texture, colour and composition. You will be taught how to use a squeegee to push ink through a screen onto paper, card and fabric.

Chinese Brush painting Maggie will cover a variety of subjects over the weekend. This course is suitable for all levels of ability as Maggie will give individual guidance.	Stained glass This weekend course is suitable for beginners who want an introduction to the basic skills of making stained glass. A selection of prepared designs will be available to choose from.	Botanical illustration This two day course is aimed at anyone with a love of plants, flowers and the natural world. Suitable for beginners exploring the possibilities, as well as those with more experience who wish to enhance their skills.	For the love of trees With paint, pencils, pen and other media immerse yourself in everything to do with trees. Somewhere between botanical study and expressive response this course offers an engaging range of artful approaches.

Monoprinting with the Gelli plate Gelli printing is a way of making one-off prints from a gelatine like base plate. it is a fast process and extremely addictive!	Atmospheric watercolour painting Suitable for beginners and painters with some experience, this course offers you a chance to examine and practice some of the most useful watercolour techniques and use them to create one or two loose, lively and expressive landscapes	Journey through mixed media This course is experimental and encourages you to explore the possibilities of combining different surfaces and media, sampling a variety of techniques with guidance.	Drawing for the terrified Are you terrified of drawing but have a secret belonging to learn how to do it? Then Richard will guide you through certain processes slowly, gently and step-by-step.
