|Polymer clay jewellery
Polymer 'clay' is a medium that can be hardened in a domestic oven. We will be using it to create beads, buttons, brooches and pendants.
|Mixed media bird box
For this workshop you will take inspiration from nature and your favourite garden birds to create a freestanding bird box. Within the two days, you will combine image transfer using laser photocopies, fabric collage and free machine embroidery.
|Introduction to precious metal clay
Within this two day Introduction to Precious Metal Clay course you will learn how to work with all types of Precious Metal Clay - lump, syringe, paste and paper.
|Peg looms & weaving sticks
Peg looms and weaving sticks are two simple types of loom but they are also very versatile. You can make big chunky mats on a peg loom but also produce quite fine, decorative work.
The projects are inspired by an intriguing Chinese Folk-Art tradition. These folded paper books contain beautifully decorated 3D compartments, cloth covers and a wraparound cord.
This is an opportunity to learn traditional jewellery techniques with step-by step instruction, from choosing the correct materials to adding the surface decoration and finishing.
|Rope Weave Bowl
This willow course is aimed at beginners and improvers, we will start your basket using a premade base. On day two we will concentrate on making bases for your next basket.
