Saturday 12th June to Sunday 13th June
This two day course is aimed at anyone
with a love of plants, flowers and the natural
world. Students will be taught to observe
and record from their chosen subject, using
pencil to produce an accurate drawing, and
water colour to create a Botanical Illustration
with a contemporary twist. Suitable for
beginners exploring the possibilities, as well
as those with more experience who wish to
enhance their skills.

tutor.

VALERIE PRICE gained a degree
in Scientific Illustration and has
worked as a freelance Botanical
Illustrator, with work appearing in
publications by the Royal Botanic
Gardens, Kew: The Royal
Horticultural Society; Collins;
Dorling Kindersley, and many others.
She has taken part in exhibitions in
London and America. She has written
two books Botanical Illustration
the First Ten Lessons and Botanical
Illustration Colour and Composition
published by Bloomsbury.
