Saturday 12th June to Sunday 13th June
The Indian subcontinent is a rich source
of inspiration for both imagery and colour.
Through a range of media including
printmaking, resist, rubbings, inks, paint,
construction and deconstruction, and a
variety of different mixed media including
paper and fabrics you will be encouraged
to develop a personal response. All you
need is a love of colour, an enthusiasm
to experiment and a willingness to try
something new. You may work towards
an experimental sketchbook or a finished
piece. Stitch (hand or machine) is an
optional addition as your work progresses.
There will be a materials charge of £5 per student.
POLLY WOOLSTONE has
taught Art and Textiles for over
30 years. She originally trained as
an illustrator and graphic designer
at Canterbury College of Art but
now works predominantly in mixed
media and textiles. Much of her
inspiration comes from her visits to
India and Indochina.
