Saturday 27th March to Sunday 28th March
Polymer 'clay' is a medium that can be
hardened in a domestic oven. We will be
using it to create beads, buttons, brooches
and pendants. If you want to transform your
polymer pieces into jewellery, you will also
be taught basic jewellery making techniques
- threading, knotting and finishing. This year
you also have the option to learn a little
about UV resin which can be used to create
pendants, brooches and earrings.
Materials cost: £20 for basic materials. You will be
able to purchase other beads from the tutor.
SARA WITHERS designs and
makes jewellery that is sold in
shops and galleries throughout
Britain. She is the author of many
books on bead jewellery, including
The Encyclopedia of Wire Jewellery
Techniques and The Compendium of
Jewellery Making Techniques.
