Lithography is a printing process, based on the principle that water and oil repel each other. It is a technique that offers the opportunity to draw and paint directly onto a unique tactile drawing surface, allowing you to create a huge range of marks and tones.

In this two-day workshop of experimental kitchen Lithography, we will learn to create some exciting images. We will explore and experiment with various greasy substances, using traditional Litho drawing materials on an easily available surface without a traditional stone.

All you need to bring are some ideas for an image to work on.  These can be your sketches or photographs, or an image sourced from books, fabrics, or abstract patterns.

All abilities welcome
