Feltmaking is an ancient craft going back some eight thousand years but needle felting is relatively new. It all began in America and found it’s way to Scandinavia and then to the UK. It is a very popular craft and you can create some wonderful pieces. Sue uses it to make many woodland creatures along with more exotic animals and of course domestic dogs and cats.

Needle felting is an easy craft, very quick to pick up but very addictive. Using a specialised needle called a felting needle, and sheep’s wool you can create anything. Sue will take you through all the steps and soon you will be creating your own menagerie.
