Needlefelting, to the uninitiated, is a method of making wool-felt in a dry way not using soap and water which is the traditional method. The technique is very much like sculpting and very realistic three-dimensional models can be made. This course will show how to create an animal or creature of the forest. We will be making squirrels, red or grey is you choice. The method is easy and the effect can be spectacular.

We will use Scandinavian wool which has a crimp unlike merino and this is preferable to ensure that the marks from the felting needle disappear.

Material cost is £15 per person.
