In this 3 day woodcut class, you will learn to carve your image on an A5 wooden block, using a variety of gouges, cut away areas of the block, leaving your image in relief for printing. You will then ink your block using a roller, and, using a baren, transfer the image onto paper. You will have the opportunity to print both in Black and white and experiment in colour, creating some exciting prints to take home.
